Working freelance means I can devote my time to meet the needs of your projects (and the needs of our family dog, Ted!)

After graduating with a 2:1 (Hons) in Psychology, my first research post was with a newly formed national charity, Changing Faces. I spent 5 years conducting research amongst patients with facial disfigurement, under the guidance of psychologists at the University of the West of England and liaising with a wide range of healthcare professionals. This work set me on the path to what has become a lifelong career in healthcare research.

I went on to complete an MSc in Psychological Research Methods before moving from academia into commercial research. Keen to remain within the healthcare sector, pharmaceutical market research offered a natural next step and I worked my way up quickly, undertaking a variety of research and later training roles within the agency setting.

In 2003, I decided to change the way that I work and have been freelancing to market research agencies based in the UK and the US ever since. With a wealth of experience in designing and conducting research projects, I provide senior level support to marketing research agencies, consultancies and individuals.

More recently, a client asked me whether I would consider conducting some research with some of their training delegates to gather feedback and create a case study that they could use in their promotional marketing.

I love to write and have managed to combine this passion with my research skills to create inspiring, independently researched blog style case studies. Creating these reports for use in my client’s promotional marketing now represents a growing part of my business.
