As a freelancer, I have the pleasure of working with many wonderful and long-standing clients

Here’s what they have to say about me and my work

I have known Emma for several years, initially as a colleague, and more recently as a freelance consultant. She is a thoughtful, diligent researcher who delivers timely, top quality work and is willing to go the extra mile. She is also great fun and I have no hesitation in recommending her.

Pip K. Head of Insights

Even though Emma is a freelancer for us, I am always impressed with how she manages to organise the internal staff! She works out who to go to obtain what type of information, she sends requests with clear deadlines and reminders.

Anna D. Research Director

Emma has always produced high quality, insightful moderation of sometimes complex therapy areas. She is particularly skilled at conducting pilots where clients have positively fed back on her ability to think on her feet and be flexible to best address client questions.

Fabrice A. Managing Director

Emma is a terrific freelancer who really ‘gets it’ when it comes to healthcare strategy. I was pleased to work with her and would happily do so again in the future.

Sharon T. Research Director

Emma is an experienced and conscientious consultant researcher who is a delight to work with.  Emma’s skills are evident in tasks ranging from study design, moderation and presentation.  Emma is one of the best freelancers I know - conscientious, diligent and great client facing skills. A great researcher.

Caroline M. Senior Vice President

Emma is a very professional and experienced all round market researcher. She is a very empathetic moderator, who leaves no stone unturned in both depth interviews and focus groups. I wouldn't hesitate to work with her again.

Susie M. Independent Researcher

Emma’s research skills were central to establishing that it was - and is - possible to develop cost-effective psycho-social interventions to complement bio-medical and surgical treatments for people with disfigurements... a fact which is now recognised in some but by no means all the relevant clinical teams/specialties. Her work was also critical in establishing the credibility of 'disfigurement research' which led to a partnership between Changing Faces and the University of the West of England that saw the Centre for Appearance and Disfigurement Research emerge in the late 1990s - now the world leader research centre. Emma - thank you so much.

Emma is one of the most engaging speakers I have heard. Whether she is training, facilitating or sharing a personal anecdote she will capture your attention and hold you spellbound. She is an original, authentic, funny and natural presenter.
